A Sweet Start to December!

We kicked off December in the coziest and tastiest way possible with our Build & Spill Gingerbread House Competition! On December 2nd, students gathered at the CA Bookstore for an afternoon full of creativity, laughter, hot cocoa, and some serious gingerbread engineering.

Beyond the competition, the event was all about connection. Students got a chance to relax before exams, sipped warm drinks, met new friends, and kicked off the holiday season together. Whether their houses stood tall or spilled over (it happens!), everyone left with smiles and sugar highs.

From 1:30–3:30 PM, the space buzzed with holiday energy. Students teamed up or built solo, assembling everything from classic gingerbread cottages to ambitious candy-covered masterpieces. Marshmallows, gumdrops, icing, and sprinkles flew (sometimes literally) as participants raced to finish their edible creations.
