On April 17th, Student Life, along with many outstanding academic individuals, attended the Seal Awards!

SealAward-8.jpgThe SEAL Award ceremony, or the Service Engagement and Leadership award ceremony is a celebrate students who are, as stated by NOVA President Kress; "dedicated students, campus leaders and community-minded volunteers." These awards are to celebrate and acknowledge our hardworking students at every NOVA campus, to show us how NOVA attendees are hardworking, persevering and unwavering in the path to excellence.

Additionally, we had the wonderful speaker Ms. Kim B. Miller, a dynamic speaker who is known for her wonderful achievements, such as being the first and only Black Poet Laureate for Prince William County, delivering the keynote address at the 2024 Woman Impact Virginia Summit and at 2023 Rappahannock Writers Conference. We thank her for her wonderful and empowering speech that she gave to those in attendance. And once again, we congratulate our amazing award winners!
