The Debate & Public Speaking Club partnered with the Student Government Association and Annandale's Student Life to bring you the Debate Night Competition!

The Debate and Public Speaking Club partnered with the career clothing closet to provide students with free formal clothing for the event. We hosted a successful Debate Night, hosting over 20 debaters and a vast audience where food was provided.

The debaters used a WSDC format to debate U.S intervention in Iran. The students took a well-researched approach to the debate and our esteemed Judges Professor Mark Royce and Professor Kerenza Jerbi judged the students to announce our top 3 winners who received trophies.

Several faculty members also stopped by to show their support for the event and the students. 

The event was hosted on Tuesday, April 7th | CN 117 |  from 3pm - 6:30pm
