ALL NOVA STUDENTS ARE WELCOME AT ALL STUDENT LIFE AND STUDENT CLUBS EVENTS.
The Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month Celebration at Northern Virginia Community College brought the campus together for an afternoon of culture, connection, and community at CFH Plaza. Students, faculty, and staff gathered to recognize and honor the diverse traditions, histories, and contributions of AAPI communities.
The event featured a vibrant mix of cultural activities and artistic expressions that invited attendees to learn, participate, and celebrate. From interactive games to creative showcases, the atmosphere was energetic and welcoming, offering something for everyone to enjoy.
Guests also experienced a variety of delicious foods and refreshing beverages, creating a shared space where culture could be explored through both taste and conversation. The event fostered meaningful engagement, encouraging students to connect with one another while gaining a deeper appreciation for the richness of AAPI heritage.
This collaboration between Student Life and the AAPI Center highlighted the importance of cultural awareness and inclusion on campus. The strong turnout and enthusiastic participation reflected NOVA’s commitment to celebrating diversity and building a more connected community.
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making this celebration memorable. We look forward to continuing these traditions and creating even more opportunities to celebrate culture together.
