Since 2010, the CCI Program has collected data about the economic and cultural impact that the CCI participants make on their host colleges and communities in the United States. Participants have given their time, effort, and enthusiasm to enhance local U.S. communities through volunteer and internship work. They also serve as leaders on their host campuses and make public presentations as part of International Education Week aand other community engagement activities. After completing the CCI Program, participants return home with a deeper understanding of U.S. culture and new skills to help them contribute to the economic development of their home countries.
