Keerthi Magi (INDIA) who studied business during the 2015-2016 CCI Program Year at Houston Community College is a recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award. He received a certificate, a letter from President Obama and special pin. Keerthi’s exemplary dedication to a local NGO, Neighborhood Tax Center, awarded him this honor.

Keerthi’s commitment to volunteerism adds to a tremendous contribution by the overall CCI–CCC participants who have contributed nearly 73,000 volunteer hours since 2010, or over $1.7 million dollars to the US economy (IndependentSector.org).
