With the number of resources at the college, it can be tricky - to say the least - keeping up with the influx of information. When it comes to engagement opportunities, there are key resources at your fingertips that can help you stay up to date with the latest information. Check out some key resources below!

  • Virtual Student Union (VSU): The VSU is a digital hub for student engagement that offers information on upcoming virtual events, online support resources, and community discussion boards. The VSU can be accessed through your Canvas account and is displayed on your dashboard. 
  • Student Life Instagram Accounts: The various Student Life Instagram accounts provide key information about upcoming events happening at each campus! The programs are open to all NOVA students, regardless of your home campus, and the Instagram handles can be found below.

  • NOVA Events Calendar: The NOVA Events Calendar is a web page that provides key information about events happening collegewide. From academic to student life events, the calendar provides quick access and options to filter events by date, event type, and topic. 
  • NOVA Engage App: The NOVA Engage App is an App that can provide academic support, access to college resources, and connection opportunities with other students, college staff, and faculty. Download the App through your Apple App Store or Google Play. 
  • Nighthawk Newsletter: The Nighthawk Newsletter is a weekly newsletter that provides information about important college announcements, college-wide opportunities, campus news, and featured events. The newsletter is sent to your student email every Monday during the Fall and Spring semesters. All students are automatically subscribed. 
  • Flyers: The paper and digital flyers help share information and announcements. They are posted on designated bulletin boards and digital signage monitors.
